Guidelines on the Process of Applying for UK External Research Funding

All new applications for externally funded research, regardless of value or funder, require to be costed on a full Economic Cost (fEC) basis and be fully approved internally prior to submission to the funder. At Strathclyde, the full Economic Costing and electronic approval of research is processed using pFACT. The pFact website has a link to the pFACT tool.

The current process for submitting Research Council Applications and other UK Research Funders is available here.
