At a time when much attention, media scrutiny and policy initiatives are focused on issues of conflict and conflict resolution, SCAR provides an inter-disciplinary research environment capable of excellence in research, training and communication.
SCAR brings together scholars from across the Faculty of Law, Arts and Social Sciences (LASS) to develop and address a research agenda. SCAR members have individual track records of engaging with issues such as war, diplomacy and statecraft, terrorism and human rights law.
