Science at Strathclyde

We are delighted that you have applied to study in the Faculty of Science at Strathclyde. These Science at Strathclyde events will give you an opportunity to find out more about what it is like to study in our Faculty.

We are holding the sessions on Wednesday 15th March and Wednesday 22nd March 2017. Both sessions have the same timetable so you can select whichever date is most convenient. The timetable for the event is below:

1.15pm - 1.30pm

Registration - John Anderson Building, Level 4

1.30pm - 2.00pm

Welcome from Professor David Littlejohn, Dean of Science, followed by presentations regarding student life.

2.15pm - 3.15pm

You will visit the Department you have applied to, to find out more about studying in the Department and you will meet academic staff.

3.30pm - 4.30pm

Reception - here you can ask staff about studying at Strathclyde. You will also be able to find out more about student finance, accommodation, the Sports Centre and student life in general. Refreshments will be provided.

Attendance of family members: This event is aimed at applicants. The Recruitment and International Office hold an event specifically for Parents and Carers. If your parent/carer wishes to attend this event with you they are welcome. However, if the event is full, there may not be room for them to attend the welcome session. In such an event parents and carers who can rejoin applicants at the reception at 3.30pm.
