Insight into University
Second week in February
This event is for adult returners who are aiming to start University in the following session.  It offers an opportunity to sample both the academic and the social life of the University, following a general introductory afternoon.  Details and registration forms are sent out to FE Colleges, but can also be obtained from the Adult Information Service.

Summer School
June - August
The University offers potential students an intensive 7-week .  The course has been designed to offer marginal candidates additional instruction in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Psychology, Economics and/or English.  Selection for the Summer School is made at the discretion of Academic Selectors for the degree courses.  If you feel you would benefit from the course please contact the Summer School Administrator.

Finding Your Way
Last Saturday in August
This induction day is held on the last Saturday in August for adult returners who are about to start their course at Strathclyde.  It is your chance to come along to the University, get a feel for the system you are about to enter and the support available to you, and meet some fellow students before the first day of term.

Open Days
Early September
The University organises annual Open Days in early September, when potential students who are thinking of undergraduate studies can come and visit the University.  It is an opporutnity to find out more about courses and to explore the campus.  In addition to a day-time session we run an evening session, which is often quieter, giving enquirers more time to discuss the details of their application.

Monday Morning Visits to the University
We are happy to meet potential students on selected Monday morning visits throughout the year.  During these visits you will hear about the University and the courses we offer, get your questions answered and take a campus tour with one of our current students.  You can view available dates and book online at our Visiting Opportunities page.
