Early-Stage Business?

Ambition

main content

Have you already taken the leap from concept to commerce and are now looking for ways to develop and grow your business? We can open many doors for young SMEs, from sponsoring a student to carry out a bespoke project for your business, to finding a mentor to steer you through that crucial next phase. The possibilities are endless!

One-to-One Advice

Now the company has been trading for a couple of years, many ask; "Where do we go from here?"  Companies don't stay still - they either move forward to growth and prosperity or move backward to extinction.

Our advisors can draw upon their own business experience to advise company owners and managers on growth and consolidation strategy. We can advise on taking on new staff, managing cashflow, acquiring new premises, implementing new procedures and processes and obtaining required finance.

Once a strategy has been developed, we can tap into the knowledge, expertise and initiatives at the University of Strathclyde.

Access to Mentors

Wouldn't it be nice if you knew someone who had been there and done it?  Wouldn't it be even nicer if you had something in common with that person, some sort of connection?  Well, we might just be able to help!

Over the last couple of years, in partnership with the Alumni Office, the team has played a key role in delivering the Strathclyde 100 programme.  The initiative was designed to involve a global network of successful alumni entrepreneurs and business people in the process of supporting the next generation of Strathclyde entrepreneurs.

Over the last couple of years a number of our clients have been successfully paired with mentors who had the right expertise, the right contacts and the right experience.

Opportunity to Promote your Company

The project has an ever expanding client base and with that, a diverse group of companies and entrepreneurs.  Our clients can communicate with this group in a number of different ways.

Client Business Directory: Our website has an up-to-date business directory which lists client companies by sector. We hope that over time clients will make Strathclyde Entrepreneurial Network their first port of call when looking to engage a new supplier.

Monthly e-Bulletin: Every month, clients are invited to submit details of any upcoming events or general news items which are distributed to our entire client base via our monthly bulletin.

Enterprise Matters: This unique publication has been doing the rounds for a couple of years and during that time has established an impressive distribution list.  If you have any major news to report or have a business opportunity you would like to share with the influential audience, we would love to hear from you.

Events: The team is always looking for entrepreneurs to speak at events, either to dispense their knowledge or to share their general experience as an entrepreneur.  One way or another you have a captive audience of like-minded business people...

Don't forget, we might also be able to use your services...
