Training Grant Support from Glasgow City Council
Glasgow City Council can offer support on a 50/50 basis for externally run courses, providing the required eligibility criteria are met. Providing that set criteria are met, 50/50 match funding is available for a range of externally undertaken non-statutory training for Management and Staff.

The Glasgow4Business Fund
The Glasgow4Business Fund offers a discretionary grant of up to a maximum of £5,000 to support business sustainability. The project operates on a match funding basis and limits the amount of Public Sector contribution to 50% of total projects costs.
Commonwealth Apprenticeship Initiative
Under the Commonwealth Apprenticeship Initiative, the Council may be able to provide a financial incentive to businesses which can demonstrate their commitment to creating additional apprenticeship opportunities
