CELEBRATION OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP DAY

Run by students for students, this University-wide event which takes place during Global Entrepreneurship Week is designed to raise awareness of entrepreneurship as a viable career option and to help develop enterprise skills.  The 2009 event was selected to feature in the Inspiring Stories page of the official Global Entrepreneurship Week website.

Strathclyde Entrepreneurial Network are now running an enterprise related vertically integrated project in conjunction with the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship. There are 4 projects available for students, one of which involves organising all aspects of 2012's Celebration of Entrepreneurship Day. NEW IDEAS COMPETITION

Supported by the Scottish Institute for Enterprise, the annual competition invites students to submit business ideas for appraisal by a panel of experts. Strathclyde runs an institutional round of this competition each year, and submits up to 12 entries to the national round.
