Postgraduate Study

main content

The Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical has a thriving postgraduate community with over 150 students originating from all corners of the globe. Our students benefit from world-class facilities including the recently opened £36M state-of-the-art building in the centre of Glasgow, and a significant investment in core research facilities.

The Graduate School

The SIPBS Graduate school is responsible for overseeing every aspect of postgraduate study for all Masters and Doctoral students.

Our remit is to provide a stimulating environment that ensures the quality of provision of postgraduate education and training, to provide a forum for students to meet at lectures and social events and a professional development programme that helps develop those skills that will make more productive and successful researchers as well as preparation for future careers. Fundamental to this remit is our commitment to the University's Research Development Programme, the Research Development Framework and the Researcher Concordat, whose underlying principles are to develop the knowledge, behaviours and attributes of successful researchers and encourage them to aspire to excellence through achieving higher levels of development.
