Strathclyde School of Journalism & Communication

Welcome to the Strathclyde School of Journalism & Communication, based in the RAE 5-rated English Studies department.

Our graduate programmes combine academic excellence in journalism and communication studies with vocational training to industry and NCTJ-accredited standard. Classes are taught by internationally-recognised academics and experienced journalism practitioners, such as Brian McNair, David Miller, Michael Higgins, Sallyanne Duncan and Eamonn O'Neill.

The degrees are designed to cater for a broad range of needs, from UK-focused vocational training to internationally-geared taught masters' programmes, PhD research, professional development, and specialisms in investigative journalism and literary journalism.
