The combination of work and social life at university is physically demanding - and if you're not feeling your best it's important to get help as soon as possible. The Student Health Service can give you advice on everything from a healthy lifestyle to registering with a local GP.
Medical advice and guidance
If you have a medical question or need some guidance, the Student Health Service is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. They offer clinics including a family planning clinic and their visiting doctors can answer any questions and refer you for treatment if you need it.

First aid

Finding a GP
All students need to be registered with a local GP. The Student Health Service can help you find one that's convenient for you
