Lloyd's Register Foundation Scholarship

The Lloyd's Register Foundation is a charity which supports the advancement of engineering-related education, and funds research and development that enhances safety of life at sea, on land and in the air. Although set up as a charity in 2012, our history dates back to 1760 through Lloyd's Register, a public benefit organisation in the marine and energy sectors.

The departments participating in the scholarship fund are Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, and Naval Architecture, Ocean & Marine Engineering.

Eligibility

The scholarship awards are open to self-funded second, third and fourth year undergraduate students within the Departments of

  • Electronic & Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering
  • Naval Architecture, Ocean & Marine Engineering

 

Further Information

Up to 9 awards of £3000 towards tuition fees will be made in each of the three participating departments.

Recipients of this scholarship are not permitted to hold any other forms of financial support (e.g scholarships or tuition fee awards)
