Lloyd's Register Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship

The Lloyd’s Register Foundation is a charity which aims to fund advances in transportation, science, engineering and technology education, training and research worldwide. In 2012, it established a scholarship fund with selected departments in the University’s Faculty of Engineering, to provide financial support for postgraduate instructional students.

The departments participating in the scholarship fund are Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, and Naval Architecture, Ocean & Marine Engineering.

Eligibility

All self-funded postgraduate taught students in the Departments of Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, and Naval Architecture, Ocean & Marine Engineering.

Number of Scholarships

Up to 6 awards of £3000 towards tuition fees will be made in each of the three participating departments.

Recipients of this scholarship are not permitted to hold any other forms of financial support (e.g scholarships or tuition fee awards)

The Department will inform students of how and when applications can be submitted. Selection is based on academic performance.
