The Summer Academy @ Strathclyde has been running since 1999 at the Jordanhill Campus of the University of Strathclyde. The unique ten-day experience is tailored for 15 year olds, from diverse backgrounds, who have the potential to enter Further or Higher Education but require additional support and motivation to achieve the necessary grades. A series of interactive, dynamic curriculum challenges, distinctive and progressive, drives the young people through increasingly demanding activities. Participants develop a more positive attitude to education and realise that applications to College and University are an achievable reality.
