AlumniVolunteering support for students

Alumni of Strathclyde can support current students by helping you to make good choices about your future career. After all, no one knows better than they do what a pivotal time it is for you, and how important it is for you to take advantage of the opportunities available.

There are a number of initiatives through which Strathclyde alumni can help current students of the University. Using their experience, expertise, and professional network means they are able to give you a head start when it comes to moving into post-study employment.

Supporting entrepreneurs

Experienced, entrepreneurial alumni support current students and new graduates through a number of programmes run by Strathclyde Inspire.

From providing mentoring through student competitions, to advising on all aspects of starting your business, alumni are keen to give you and your business a helping hand.

Student & alumni networking

A number of academic departments across the University organise career events at which Strathclyde alumni talk about their career progression and offer advice. Ask your department for more information.

Alumni profiles

Many alumni have completed graduate profiles providing information about their career paths to date, as well as helpful hints for current students and new graduates. Search your course pages for information about alumni from your department.

Networking at events

We host events around the world for our alumni; many of these events include networking opportunities and guest speakers from within the alumni community. To ensure that you do not miss out on receiving invitations after you have completed your studies, add your personal email address to Pegasus before you graduate.
