Alumni Strathclyde People Award winner

Richard Brown

The Strathclyde People Award was presented to Richard Brown in 2012. In his capacity as Chairman of the Strathclyde University Down South alumni group (SUDS), Richard dedicated 15 years to running the group.

Unwavering support

Bringing together alumni based in London and the surrounding areas, Richard organised numerous successful alumni events including the annual Burns Supper.

An advocate of giving back to the place that gave him his start, Richard has played an instrumental role in raising enough funds to cover the costs of several student scholarships, not to mention making personal gifts to the Alumni Fund.

On receiving the award, Richard said:
