Strathclyde Business School and William Grant & Sons have been partners in a customised MBA programme since 2011, which has leadership and innovation at its heart.
The MBA25 programme was launched in 2011 aimed at creating global leaders of the future. Led by William Grant & Sons, other handpicked companies such as Alliance Trust, Craneware and Wolfson Microelectronics were invited on the programme, as well as some individuals and not-for-profit organisations.
Two distinctive new electives in luxury brand marketing and family owned businesses were created for the MBA 25, which also has a strong focus on leadership and innovation. The new electives were developed in association with William Grant, which also assisted with scenarios and data for case studies. Participants also study a range of subjects from the highly regarded Strathclyde MBA programme.
An international and experiential dimension to the MBA25 has been achieved via partnerships with the Stockholm School of Economics; Ca’ Foscari University of Venice; and via Strathclyde Business School academic sessions in Milan. Past and existing participants have enjoyed engagement with organisations such as Cartier and Patek Philippe, as well as visits to Maserati and Fratelli Rossetti.
MBA25 recognises that delegates will already have achieved significant positions within business, and will have corresponding expectations about this learning opportunity. Individual development coaches, real-time projects and guest visits from a wide range of business leaders will maximise the learning experience.
The MBA25 programme is taught part-time over three years, with a mixture of Strathclyde MBA core content and bespoke courses created for MBA25 delegates.
