Conferencing & Events blogTIC Conferences - Safe. Connected. Here for You.

Over the last few months, our world has changed in ways we couldn’t have imagined, and at lightning speed.  Things that seemed impossible are now not only possible, but part of everyday life; while other things, once a part of everyday life, seem the remotest of possibilities.

As life gradually comes to bear some resemblance to something we once knew, we wanted to share a little more about what we’ve been doing to make sure that we can continue working with our lovely clients to bring people together, safely and with confidence.  Although meetings and events might look and feel quite different for some time, our customer focus, flexible approach and attention-to-detail will still sit at the heart of all we do.

Safe.

The health, wellbeing and comfort of all delegates remains our highest priority.  We’re adapting our operations in line with the most up-to-date Government and WHO advice, which will mean enhanced cleaning and hygiene regimes in the venue before, during and after events.  We’ll support the most up-to-date guidance on physical distancing by limiting capacity in our Conference Rooms and Auditoria, and carefully managing the flow of delegates around the building.  We will work with our clients to stagger arrival, break and departure times, to avoid unnecessary congestion in shared spaces and key routes.  Our catering offer will be limited according to government advice, too.

Of course, the measures we have in place will change over time, reflecting the guidance available and the needs of our valued clients.  We commit to providing as much information as we can in advance of any event, outlining exactly what to expect when you arrive at TIC, and detail the measures in place, which mean you can be confident that you’re in a safe, welcoming and carefully-managed environment throughout.

Connected

Thanks to the technology we’ve all become familiar with, we know that physical distancing definitely doesn’t have to stop us from connecting people with one another.  It’s opened our eyes to the possibilities of having some of the faces in the room, while others join from far and wide.  Our fast, free and reliable delegate WiFi already helps delegates stay connected so when we welcome them again, it’ll be easy to connect to a number of available video-conferencing platforms, thanks to the new infrastructure we’ve installed in all of our Conference Rooms.  We’ve enhanced the live streaming services in our Auditoria, too.  Our friendly and experienced team will be on-hand to help you connect with confidence, whether an event is face-to-face, virtual or a hybrid of the two.

Here for You.

Although the experience at the event itself will inevitably be noticeably different, at least in the short-term, we will continue to work with our clients in the same friendly, flexible and professional manner for which we’re known.  Working in partnership with you to deliver powerful, memorable and enjoyable live experiences is our passion.  We commit to combining our award-winning venue and the ambitions of our clients with the latest technologies, to create engaging environments where people can come together to share knowledge and ideas as they always have, whether in person or online.

We know that this may all still seem like a very remote possibility!  You might not know what your next event is going to look like, nor when it’s going to happen. But when you do start thinking about how you’re going to bring people together again, please do get in touch.  We’re here for you, and we’ll work together on the best way to keep your delegates safe and connected.
