Latest Scottish Government advice

The University is open with a number of safety measures in place.

We all have a collective responsibility to exercise care and caution to continue to suppress the virus. Protection measures are still required, including the wearing of face coverings, unless you are exempt. Wearing a face covering is a legal requirement in some indoor settings.

On physical distancing, even though the law does not require a specific distance, the Scottish Government continues to advise that, especially indoors, people should keep a reasonable distance from other people and avoid places that are crowded. Find out more about our approach to physical distancing

Getting tested regularly is an important step in ensuring that the wider Strathclyde community is safe. The Scottish Government recommends that we all test at home before travelling to campus, socialising, visiting someone at home or going somewhere that might be crowded.

You can collect free COVID-19 lateral flow test kits from Livingstone Tower CafĂ© Area (LT110/LT111), Strathclyde Sport reception and Student Experience Helpdesk, 4th floor, Learning & Teaching Building

Tests are for all Strathclyde students and staff.

Do not collect a test if you have COVID-19 symptoms. Instead, you must organise a PCR test instead, using NHS Inform.

On-campus learning is underway, combined with online activities, for all our learners, which will be phased according to the needs of the programme. Read more about the Academic Year 2021/2022.
