CoronavirusStaff update 14 May

Dear colleagues,

You may be aware that the First Minister has made a further announcement this afternoon in relation to COVID-19 restrictions in Scotland, following a rise in positive cases in some areas of the country. Unfortunately, Glasgow and Moray will now remain in level three next week, and will not move to level two as planned for at least another week.

I know this is disappointing news for colleagues and the wider University community, and it again highlights the need for all of us to keep the FACTS guidance in mind. You can find full details of the COVID levels – and what the restrictions mean for each of us – on the Scottish Government website. We will continue to keep you updated.

Please enjoy your weekend, and stay safe.

Best wishes,

Jim
