´╗┐How did your internship with Nottingham Forest come about?

The takeover of the club by the new owner and my passion for football motivated me to chase this opportunity and submit my CV to become part of this historical club.

How long were you working at the club for and what were your main duties?

Sergio Alkiviadis Zervoudis, Law (LLB) student

My internship lasted for five weeks. As an intern in the aspect of football administration, I had to assist the Club Secretary to update the squad information and organise the electronic files. I also spent a significant amount of time dealing with the contracts of the professional players and academy arrangements.

What did you enjoy most about your internship?

The fact that my office was by the City Ground (football stadium) and I had the chance to get to know and work with such important individuals was literally a dream come true!

What do you enjoy most about your course?

I really enjoy that the whole course is based on critical thinking and provides us all the necessary academic and humanitarian equipment in order to serve the law and the society as a whole.

What do you enjoy most about studying at Strathclyde?

Our University is more than an academic institution. I love being part of this multicultural team where you have the chance to meet and work with lovely people from all over the world. Innovative methods of teaching, hunger to evolve and respect by all means, constitute the recipe of Strathclyde's success.

What do you hope to do after university?

I would like to gain some more working experience in the area of Sports Law, continue my studies accordingly and keep working hard in order to reach my ultimate potential.
