
28th Annual SCI-CSCST Conference: 9 – 10 September 2021 Chemical Engineering and its path to Net Zero
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend the 28th Joint Annual Conference of the Chinese Society of Chemical Science and Technology in the UK and Society of Chemical Industry's Chinese UK Reginal Group (CSCST-SCI) which this year will be an online event from Thursday 9 to Friday 10 September 2021.
CSCST community has continuously grown to the various fields of chemical science and engineering in the United Kingdom, and worldwide. In collaboration with the Society of Chemical Industry, a platform has also been created to enable the development of links between the fundamentals of industrial practice and applications, delivering real impact and growing the UK economy.
During this 28th conference, we intend to celebrate the successes and achievements of Chinese colleagues in academia and industry from UK and other countries. The general themes of the CSCST-SCI 28 will cover Chemical Engineering and Net Zero, as well as the latest methodological and process developments in Energy, Materials, and Environment.
Attendees:
This meeting will be of interest to early and mid-career researchers; phd students, research associates, research fellows, research scientists, lecturers, engineers, and relevant colleagues from industry.
Call for abstracts:
Contributions are invited from those working in areas of but not limited to: Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage, Energy Storage, Waste Valorisation, Bioenergy and Biofuels, Electrochemistry, Catalysis.
Please click here to submit an abstract by 4pm, Monday 16 August 2021 and click here to download the abstract template. High-quality abstracts and presentations will be selected and recommended to journals including "Biomass and Bioenergy", "Carbon Capture Science & Technology", and "Small".
