Continuing Professional Development
We offer a range of executive awareness and practitioner courses across areas of Design, Manufacture & Engineering Management. We also offer tailored programmes to suit your business needs.
When you need expert advice or some other short term intervention in the areas covered by our research and teaching, we can provide this on a consultancy basis.

Company-suggested student projects
Industrial engagement is a central part of our teaching practice. Every year we involve our fourth and fifth year undergraduates, and our postgraduate taught masters students in industrial projects.
These can be an ideal mechanism for you to gain an appreciation of what the department can do for you, and perhaps whet your appetite for a more focussed involvement. Our students also undertake individual projects that they develop themselves - potentially with companies, and we encourage our students to take summer internships relevant to their degree through our Summer placement scheme.
