There will be a civic drinks reception in the Glasgow City Chambers (Picture Gallery) at 6.00 pm on Thursday, 9 July 2020. This event is free for all delegates.
Glasgow City Chambers is the focal point of Geroge Square and one fo the city's most iconic and imposing buildings. The building was opened by Queen Victoria in 1888.
Directly after the civic drinks reception, we invite you to join us in a short walk to the Trades Hall (Grand Hall) for a traditional night of good food, company and ceilidh dancing. We will have native scots on hand to teach you our traditions. And if dancing is not your thing there will be great music and entertainment to enjoy.
Trades Hall is the home of The Trades House of Glasgow established in 1605.
