main content

The Careers in Research Online Survey (CROS) 2015 ran from Thursday 12th March 2015 until Friday 10th April 2015.

CROS gathers anonymous data about working conditions, career aspirations and career development opportunities for research staff working in Higher Education in the UK. It is a biannual survey that has run at Strathclyde since 2011.

The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.  Your responses will only be recorded once you have completed the survey, however there will be an option to save and return later.

The results are used by the University and research funding bodies to inform decision making and monitor developments and initiatives relating to the employment, training and career development of research staff.   It has had and will continue to have a significant impact on the lives of research staff in the UK.  A high engagement rate is extremely important and highly valued.

Thank you to those who took the survey.  The results are currently being analysed and will be available soon.
