Researchers' Group

main content

The Researcher's Group is a conduit between the research staff in the University of Strathclyde and University management committees.

We focus on:

  • promoting cross-faculty events and training for research staff at all career stages.
  • bringing clarity between research staff, associated academic staff, and principal investigators,
  • communicating the interests, successes and constraints of the research community,
  • establishing researchers-supporting-researchers frameworks,
  • sharing good practice via surgeries in each faculty

Researchers' Group members come from many faculties and career stages and have a variety of interests. We meet on the last Thursday of every month to share ideas. We also send representatives to university committees such as the Research and Knowledge Exchange Committee (RKEC) and the Researcher Development Sub-Committee (RDSC) and liaise with other researcher support groups.
