Centre for Youth & Criminal Justice Minister for Children and Young People visits Strathclyde

Maree Todd, the Minister for Children and Young People, visited the University of StrathclydeMaree Todd, the Minister for Children and Young People, visited the University of Strathclyde on September 2. She met with members of the Centre for Youth & Criminal Justice (CYCJ) and Staf (Scottish Throughcare and Aftercare Forum) 'Youth Just Us' group, which was set up to share the voices and views of care and justice experienced 16-25 year olds on youth justice in Scotland and is funded by the Life Changes Trust. During the session, the Minister learnt more about the work of the group on the Government's UNCRC consultation and children's rights, and heard views and answered questions about the Disclosure (Scotland) Bill.
