News Person centred planning - a new article from Social Work & Social Policy

An article from Social Work and Social Policy newly published in the British Journal of Social Work explores the benefits of person centred planning. The article draws on Ricoeur’s narrative hermeneutics in exploring qualitative data from a carer support organisation.  In particular it enters new territory by focusing on how careful use of recording and the written plan can help to build trust and relationships between family carers and staff, restore carer identity, recognise carer capabilities and improve wellbeing.
