The School of Education Resources Centre
This is a unique resource for students learning to be teachers. It houses over 12,000 resources related to the school curriculum including teachers' handbooks, lesson ideas, games etc. The emphasis is on practical activity-based resources from which to source ideas for lessons. The resources are available on a reference only basis so they are always there when students need them.
The centre is a great place for students to plan, discuss ideas and practise lessons with fellow students. It is a very informal atmosphere where lots of discussion and creativity takes place. It has a smartboard to practice on, a whiteboard, computers, a printer, laminator, guillotine etc. In short everything students need to make lessons.
We are happy to welcome visitors.
Location : The centre is based on level 5 of the Andersonian Library in the Curran Building.
