Education Our Impact

The Strathclyde Early Childhood Education Hub is not a specific university centre but a working group of members who all specialise in Early Childhood Education. 

The hub page will provide an overview of the work that happens within the School of Education in relation to Early Childhood, including research projects, our related courses, and knowledge exchange opportunities; it is the first place to look if you need to know anything about Early Childhood at Strathclyde.

We want Scotland’s children and young people to have the opportunity to learn about Chinese language and culture.

That's why the Confucius Institute for Scotland's Schools promotes and supports high quality Chinese language learning .

We want to teach our young people to become better global citizens and develop key skills for life and work, so they can make a significant contribution to a fairer, smarter and more successful Scotland.

SCILT promotes and supports the delivery of high quality language learning. 

Scotland is already a multi-cultural society where we speak many languages. This includes indigenous, Scottish languages and those originating from further afield. 

We want to make sure all languages and cultures are valued and that life-long language learning is recognised as a key skill for life and work.
