As Housing First (HF) has become popular as a means of ending homelessness, the diversity of adoptive settings presents a challenge for local advocates. Just as successful adoptions of HF vary by context, resistance to HF takes many forms. Dr. Padgett, the first author of "Housing First: Ending Homelessness, Transforming Systems and Changing Lives" (2015, Oxford University Press) will speak about her experiences studying and speaking about HF to audiences in several countries. She will share 'lessons learned' using an implementation science framework.
