Evening reception and welcome buffet followed by a walking tour of our city-centre campus (weather dependent!).

Tuesday 25 April

Civic Reception (including drinks and canapés) kindly hosted by the Lord Provost of Glasgow in one of the city's most iconic buildings, the City Chambers.

Wednesday 26 April

Conference dinner and cèilidh at Ross Priory, our 19th century country house on the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond!

Thursday 27 April

Optional tours from 1pm onwards.

  • Option 1: Kelvin Hall (free of charge)
    A unique partnership between Glasgow Life, the University of Glasgow and the National Library of Scotland sees this historic and much loved venue transformed into an exciting new centre of cultural excellence. Visit duration: approx. 2 hours.
  • Option 2: Mitchell Library (free of charge)
    The Mitchell Library in Glasgow is one of Europe's largest public libraries with over one million items of stock and is the hub of a city-wide information service. Visit duration: approx. 2 hours.
  • Option 3: Auchentoshan Experience whisky distillery tour (approximately £40 per person including transport, payable during the conference)
    A 90 minute tasting tour of Auchentoshan Distillery. You’ll sample four different Auchentoshan Single Malt Whiskies on your journey. Approx. duration: 3 hours.
