Deepa Rajagopalan

Born and educated in Mumbai, I began my career in 2000 in Fashion Retail with a department store company called Globus in the same city. Over the years, my work experience has covered working for private label departmental stores and licensed international brands in domestic and international markets. In my last job, I held a leadership position as Business Head for Children's Apparel for a value based retail giant in the GCC region.
By way of doing the Strathclyde Business School MBA, I hope to enhance my prospects within my industry of experience.

I chose Strathclyde as it allowed me a flexible approach, they were ranked within the top 100 Business Schools by Financial Times, the length of programme was suitable, and fees were good value.

Strathclyde's access to information and databases is outstanding, and the flexibility to manage modules makes it easier to manage other commitments and still pursue the MBA. There have also been great opportunities to meet industry folk.

The course material is the same to everyone, it's what the student can do for oneself that connects dots and enhances learning. The faculty focuses on building this initiative within the students.

I'd recommend the Strathclyde MBA. From an Indian's perspective, we get exposure to a wider world. We learn new ways of approaching learning and building career.
