Strathclyde Business School Student case studies
Sean Bush
Prior to my MBA I was employed by an interactive marketing agency where I managed a team involved in concept generation and production for promotional activity and interactive advertising campaigns.
The main driver behind the completion of my MBA was the desire to increase my entrepreneurial skills with the intention of owning and operating my own business. The skills that I have acquired during the MBA process have provided significant insight as to how I will attain these professional goals.
I chose Strathclyde for my MBA due to the international exposure it provided by studying abroad, and additionally I was keen to work with colleagues that brought significant work experience to the class exercises.
The time that I have spent at Strathclyde is something I will remember for the rest of my life. The staff has provided an atmosphere that is first class and extremely conducive to personal development. Additionally, the student’s body provided significant international perspectives during class work and friendships that will last well beyond the MBA process.
My experience at Strathclyde makes me confident in my abilities in a multitude of business circumstances. The relationship with fellow classmates also created a sense of family and seeing this develop over the course of the year was an amazing experience.
A key element of my MBA was what I learned about the importance of interpersonal skills and how they can be used to manage people and circumstances which you encounter in personal and professional life.
