Ross Priory Membership

Situated in an unrivalled position on the banks of Loch Lomond, and with stunning views of Ben Lomond and the surrounding hills, Ross Priory is a secluded and distinctive venue, enhanced by magnificent gardens.

Dating back to 1693, Ross Priory is one of the finest examples of Goth architecture in Scotland. The historic building was bought by the Univesity of Strathclyde in 1971 and is used extensively for a wide range of occasions, including weddings, conferences and events, lunches, dinners and functions, and also offers bed & breakfast accommodation.

Ross Priory Club Membership

Ross Priory is first and foremost a members' club. As such, members have the privilege of enjoying all that this wonderful and unique estate has to offer without advance notice of prior arrangement.

Membership is open to all current and former members of staff of the University of Strathclyde and to graduates of the University, as well as members of the local parish of Kilmaronock and members of Glasgow & Strathclyde Universities' Staff Golf Club (G&SUGC).

As a Club Member, you are welcome to use the bar/lounge facilities and grounds at your leisure. You can enjoy a coffee or a bar meal while enjoying the view and hospitality. There is also free car parking for our Club Members and guests to use, with disabled access if required. You can take a walk in the extensive gardens, explore the walled garden or have a picnic at the lochshore where benches are provided.
