The Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) is administered by Strathclyde Pension Fund and is one of the largest local authority pension funds in the UK.

LGPS is available to staff in Grades 1 to 5 who commenced employment with the University prior to 1 April 2003, or from 1 January 2017 onwards. If you are in this category and you wish to join the scheme please contact the Pensions Section.
