As of the 1st of January, 2019, Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching Standard and Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching Premium will replace the names of Imagine Standard and Imagine Premium.
Azure Dev Tools for Teaching Premium is a service offered by Microsoft which provides full-time students enrolled in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths course, with software design and development tools at no additional charge.
Several development software titles are available for download through the Premium program.

How do I get it?
Staff
Support and Faculty staff can download the various Microsoft product from Azure Dev Tools for Teaching
If you meet the eligibility criteria but cannot access the Imagine Webstore, please complete and return the including approval from your Head of Department, to the IT Helpdesk.
Student
Download your required Microsoft product now from Azure Dev Tools for Teaching
If you meet the eligibility criteria but cannot access the Imagine Webstore, please get approval from your Head of Department, then complete the Azure Request Form.
Computer labs
Certain Microsoft products which can be accessed from Azure Dev Tools for Teaching may also be available on the centrally managed Lab PCs.

Usage
Certain technical/research staff and Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths students who meet the Imagine licensing criteria will be entitled to use the above listed Microsoft products on or off campus and with a personal or University owned computer system.

Staff
Free to use for full-time support staff or faculty and staff working in a STEM department.
This software can only be used for educational/research or evaluation purposes.
Student
Free to use for registered full-time students within the Faculties of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
