We are appealing to recent graduates to return any University Library books they still have at home. You can do this in person or by post. We won't charge you for overdue items. |

From Monday 25 January 2021 we will reinstate our Click and Collect service. The Library building is open from 09:00 to 17:00 on weekdays (Monday–Friday) for solo study only. Only Library staff may access the bookshelves. |

From Tuesday 5 January, mainland Scotland moved from Covid Level 4 restrictions to a temporary Lockdown, with new guidance to stay at home except for essential purposes.
We are taking these steps to protect staff and students and may introduce additional safety measures or restrictions informed by an assessment of the increased risks associated with the new variants of the virus. Please continue to social distance and wear a face covering when in the Library. |

The Glasgow City council area will transition to COVID protection Level 4 restrictions on Saturday 26 December 2020 at 00:01 During Level 4 restrictions, browsing of bookshelves by customers is not permitted. If you want to borrow from the Library collection please speak to a member of staff who will assist. The Library Shop is classed as non-essential retail. It is currently closed until further notice. Please continue to social distance and wear a face covering when in the Library. |

The Glasgow City council area transitioned to COVID protection Level 3 restrictions on Friday 11 December 2020 at 18:00. From Saturday 12 December, customers are welcome to browse our bookshelves and retrieve items themselves. Please continue to social distance and wear a face covering when in the Library. |

The Glasgow City council area, which includes the Strathclyde campus, will move in to COVID protection Level 4 restrictions from 18:00 GMT on Friday 20-11-2020. From Saturday 21-11-2020 until further notice, Library customers (students and staff) are not permitted to access/browse bookshelves in the Library. We will continue with our Click & Collect service and are working to implement an in-Library book collection service. If you're visiting us make sure to follow our new rules for access. |
