UK and World League Tables and Rankings

The Directorate is the main contact point for verification and provision of data used by league table compilers, and for internal queries relating to analysis of league table position.  Detailed information on individual league tables is available to staff here.

HESA Performance Indicators (PIs)

HESA’s Performance Indicators provide comparative data on the performance of UK institutions in relation to widening participation (state schools/low social classes), student retention, research output and employment of graduates.

HEIDI Plus

Heidi Plus is a web-based management information service that provides easy access to a wide range of quantitative data about higher education including information on students, graduates, staff, finances and estates. SUnBIRD - Strathclyde University, Business Intelligence Reports & Dashboard Project (formerly CMI Project)

SUnBIRD (Strathclyde University Business Intelligence Reports and Dashboards) currently delivers a Student Profile datamart, a Retention, Progression and Outcomes datamart as well as a KPI Dashboard.  SUnBIRD is the University's single, shared, authoritative resource for student management information and statistics across the University.

Student-related statutory returns

The Directorate prepares the University’s student-related statutory returns to the Scottish Funding Council for Further and Higher Education and the Higher Education Statistics Agency.
