United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR)

The Strathclyde Centre for Environmental Law and Governance (SCELG) has concluded a Memorandum of Understanding with the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) to establish a collaboration on innovative teaching of international environmental law, as well as to arrange for internships at UNITAR for students on the new on-campus LLM in Global Environmental Law and Governance.

The collaboration with UNITAR provides an innovative ways to share knowledge and build capacities in various areas of international environmental law. SCELG will learn a lot from UNITAR’s experience in developing online training programmes and SCELG looks forward to sharing its research to contribute to new UNITAR courses.
