Our research programme makes use of the established expertise of the Centre for Elections and Representation for advancing cross-national and national research on public opinion and political behaviour.
Our staff are currently engaged in three major Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) funded projects:
- Public attitudes on Scotland's independence referendum and broader British and Scottish social attitudes
- The impact of social media on attitudes towards Scottish independence
- As part of a broader project on corruption, we're examining how this affects political participation, trust and popular support for government
