Drawing on diverse disciplines, including psychology, sociology and public health, our research examines the inter-relationship between work, health and wellbeing.

This includes:

  • studies on employee experiences of and attitudes towards changing forms of work and management across public, private and voluntary sector settings
  • employee involvement and participation
  • occupational health and safety
  • work-life boundaries
  • experiences of unemployment and return to work
