The University strategy is to protect the safety, health and wellbeing of its staff and students. As our working environment has now changed, the University must take action to ensure adequate risk assessments and control measures are implemented to minimise the transmission of coronavirus on campus and create a low risk environment.
The Safety, Health and Wellbeing team, working with colleagues across the University, are developing a suite of documents to facilitate a safe return to campus. When these documents are published, they will be available here.
The University Covid-19 Outbreak Response Plan describes the response in the event of suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases impacting staff and students at the University of Strathclyde. This plan has been developed on the advice of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Public Health Protection Unit and Glasgow City Council and is aligned with Scottish and UK Government guidance. Key actions for staff, students, visitors and line managers in event of people experiencing symptoms on campus or testing positive can be found here.
