GLP Applications of Chromatography in Drug Stability
The four-week course will comprise of eight hours of lectures each week and 13 hours of laboratory experiments during the first three weeks. There will also be three sessions on computer literacy covering the use of Excel, Word and Chemdraw. The fourth week will be devoted to feedback on the laboratory sessions, student presentations of their results and other workshops. The students will produce laboratory reports for each of the lab experiments. At the end of the fourth week a multiple choice quiz will be used to assess that the students have obtained the basic concepts around drug stability and chromatography. The emphasis will be on what is most practically useful rather than the more academic aspects of the subject.
The course will be delivered by academic experts with extensive experience in the field of chromatography and drug stability, as well as external speakers with practical industrial experience within pharmaceutical companies, (eg AstraZeneca). Aspects of the course will be delieverd by international experts in regulatory processes (Good Manufacturing Practice/Good Laboratory Practice (GXP), ISO 9001).
The course will last for one calendar month, and the cost per student will be £5,000 including all chemicals and necessary laboratory equipment.
Waiting List Courses will be scheduled on demand. To register on the waiting list contact Debbie Stack.
