Personal statement

I joined Chemical and Process Engineering Department in June 2015. Previously, I worked at the University of Wroclaw in Poland and undertook several postdoctoral research positions in St Andrews and in Nottingham.

My research involves study of hydrogen-bonded, metal-organic and covalent networks formation on surfaces. These two-dimensional (2D) structures can alter surface properties and provide a platform to grow three-dimensional (3D) functional materials such as metal-organic frameworks (MOFs).
