Personal statement

Roman Spesyvtsev is currently working in the Department of Physics on the development and applications of Laser-driven Wakefield Accelerators (LWFA).

Following the completion of his PhD in 2013, undertaken at University College London (England) under the supervision of Prof Helen Fielding, he was working as a postdoctoral researcher at Kyoto University in the group of Prof Toshinori Suzuki and later moved to St Andrews (Scotland) to join the Optical Manipulation group.
