Personal statement

In collaboration with the Principal, Professor Uttamchandani leads the University’s engagement with Research Councils UK and its individual research councils, including leadership and support of major institutional research grant applications. He works with the Executive Team as Strathclyde continues to develop its research excellence and research infrastructure within its wider vision as a leading international technological university. He has previously held the posts of Deputy Head of the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Vice Dean Research and Associate Dean Strategy in the Faculty of Engineering.
