Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the worldwide annual campaign involving thousands of organisations, to highlight the importance of breast awareness, education and research. Throughout the month Breast Cancer Now aims to get as many people as possible involved in raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research. This is done through campaigning, raising money, an array of events across the UK as well as, of course, wearing it pink!

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month do something great – make life-saving research happen by supporting wear it pink.

World Mental Health Day

10 October 2018

World Mental Health Day aims to bring attention to the issues our youth and young adults are facing in our world today and begin the conversation around what they need in order to grow up healthy, happy and resilient. We at Strathclyde Sport would like all use this year’s campaign to emphasize the needs of our young people. It’s time to take a stand and demand more for this vulnerable population – our future depends on it!

This year’s theme is Young People and Mental Health in a Changing World.
