Live and Online with the Age-Friendly Academy
Registration is now open for ‘Live and Online with the Age-Friendly Academy’ – a free online event to give attendees a flavour of what Strathclyde has to offer for older adults across Scotland and beyond.
The online event will take place via Zoom on Thursday 20th May 2021 from 10.30am – 2.45pm as part of Engage with Strathclyde week.
Kicking off the free event will be guest speaker, Gavin Esler, journalist, writer and broadcaster who will give his own take on lifelong learning and how it has shaped his career.
This will be followed by short presentations from Strathclyde researchers on aging-related research. Participants will then have the chance to take part in a ‘live’ online class taster session to get a flavour the full Strathclyde learning experience, followed by an engaging Health and Wellbeing talk.
