CLL Art Competition Winners Announced!
We are delighted to announce that Kathleen Stewart has won the CLL Art Competition, with William McMenemy being awarded runner up. Congratulations to Kathleen and William, we hope you enjoy your prizes!
Thank you to everyone who took the time to create and submit a Glasgow themed piece of art for the competition, which was run to celebrate 30 years of the Daytime Programme. We received in the region of 50 entries from current CLL Daytime and Evening & Weekend Programme students, and the standard was extremely high. Entries were judged by a panel of five which was led by Gareth Reid, winner of Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2017.
The winning entry ‘City Chambers OOT’ (top right) and runner up ‘Elf, Kibble Palace’ (bottom right) will have pride of place in the CLL Art Exhibition which will be held at Cass Art from 8th – 14th March. The Exhibition will be open to the public so please do come along and enjoy viewing work from our talented students!
