Summer Programme Launched with 'Making His Mark' Event

The Centre for Lifelong Learning lauched their Summer Programme on Monday 19th June with 'An Evening with Gareth Reid', a CLL tutor and winner of the Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2017.

Gareth shared his experiences and talked through his journey from entrant though to winner of the competition. The one-off event included a short talk followed by a question and answer session, against a backdrop of Gareth's sketches which charted his remarkable past 12 months. He also provided a fascinating insight into what it was like to be part of recording and participating in such a process and how his teaching experience was central to his success on the show.
